Gold Making Websites

Places to find deals and statistics

The Undermine Journal - Just select your realm and check out recent blog posts or go to the top and click on "Great Deals", Be sure to select "Great Deals" from the bar below to see a list of good deals on your server. This site is a must have for flippers. It also has an section devoted to tracking sellers as well as the auctions themselves. Take some times to explore!

WoWuction - This is a great site for tracking what is selling well and what is for sale for cheap. It tracks each item and lets you know when things are selling for high or low. It is a great place to buy items that sell often for low and post them for high.

Places to find discussions on gold making

The Consortium - This is a wonderful site where gold makers come together to discuss the art of gold making. I highly recommend you check this one out. Hit the forums and enjoy the delicious information!

Reddit has quite a few sub forums dedicated to WoW gold making including
Reddit WoW Gold Making
Reddit Goblinism
Reddit Wow Economy

Blogs

I would have been lost without blogs. They are full of entertainment and yummy information!

Auction House Addict - Nev has a good head on her shoulders and gives solid advice and suggestions for the casual gold maker. My favorite part is the clever pictures she finds for each post. I love it!

PhatLewtsGold - PhatLewts isn't afraid to experiment with the little bits and has often inspired me to try out various things I hadn't considered. My favorite part is the muck ups. PhatLewts isn't afraid to post mistakes made. How not to do something is just as important as how to do it!

Clockwork Riot - Faid's blog is quite well known in the gold making community and I understand why. She has a massive amount of useful information all over her blog. She make clear concise guides and her information is what gave me momentum when I first started gold making.

Zerohour's Nameless Blog - Zerohour isn't for everyone but I really enjoy his style. He is straight to the point and doesn't hold back. This seems to be quite rare. He isn't out to make money or friends, he just wants to offer something unique. I love that he makes me really think about the process of gold making. It really helps to have someone who pushes the limits. It keeps me out of a rut and forces me to continue to evolve.

The Golden Crusade - Eric is very well organized and has created (and maintains) an awesome shuffling spreadsheet. I highly recommend checking it out!

The Auction House Grind - Jafo is awesome at keeping me up to date on what my professions have to offer and what is coming up that might be profitable. I have only recently found him but it is has helped my crafted sales quite a bit!

Get Rich WoW - It has been exciting to see Erogroth's venture into gold making. His blog has a very real progression to it and I think it is great for those who want to get a feel for the process.

The Overcut- My favorite part of The Overcut is the fact that it uses both the Horde and Alliance market to maximize profits. Once I split my sales to include both sides I found that some of the items that were failing for one would excel on the other. At first I didn't see this as something viable but after trying it and seeing the results it has worked very well.

I would like to note that there are quite a few blogs that give their information via podcast. They can give quite a bit of useful information but it is often sandwiched between some dull bits. As a result, I am not fond of podcasts. However, that does not mean they aren't great resources. If you come across these please take some time to check them out. You may find it is just what you are looking for!
